We Did It (Again)!
We are thrilled to announce our re-certification with National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations! Thank you to our Board and staff for all their hard work and dedication to excellence in community philanthropy.

The National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations Accreditation Program certifies U.S. community foundations that meet and exceed federal and state law requirements in practice and by policy. The accreditation process is rigorous, and undertaking it demonstrates a community foundation’s commitment to accountability and excellence to its donors, its community, policymakers, and the public.

Nominate a Local Educator for An Excellence Award
We are seeking community nominations for the spring 2021 Excellence in Education Awards. With all the extra work our school districts put in this year due to COVID-19, this is a great way to show educators they're appreciated. Deadline for community nominations is November 1.

Thank you to donor Yvonne Johnson for her desire to shine a light on educators making a difference in DeKalb County!

Gift of Grain Option Available for Farmers
Gift of Grain is a charitable option for farmers and landowners to consider. By giving a gift of grain, farmers align generosity with their charitable interests and receive tax savings at the same time.

This giving option is made possible through a collaboration between the DeKalb County Community Foundation and the DeKalb County Farm Bureau Foundation.
