Prior to becoming an advisor with Montecito Village Travel, a Virtuoso agency, Matt worked for Backroads for ten years as a tour leader, global trip consultant, and travel agency sales manager. He planned and escorted high-end biking, hiking, and multi-adventure itineraries all over the world. Now, as a luxury Travel Advisor, Matt uses his years of knowledge and experience in the industry, preferred network of global partners, long-standing agency relationships, exclusive access to certain perks and privileges, and highly detailed travel planning process to ensure that clients' travel is seamless from start to finish. On a local level, Matt is highly involved with the Marin County Bicycle Coalition, where he helped develop the Cory's Ride earn-a-bike program for under-resourced youth in Marin. When he's not helping clients plan their luxury vacations, Matt remains an advisor and ride leader for the youth program.
