On the evening of Tuesday, September 10th during our Fall Business Meetings at Embassy Suites in La Vista, we celebrated the Inauguration of our incoming 2025 President, Susan Clark, and the 2025 Officers & Directors of the Nebraska REALTORS® Association.



We are looking forward to a successful year under Susan's presidency in 2025! Thank you to Arla Meyer, our 2024 President, for all you have done and continue to do for the association!

WINDOW TO THE LAW: SOP 16-16 AND REQUESTING BUYER BROKER COMPENSATION

A buyer may ask their buyer broker to include a term in the purchase offer that the seller pay certain compensation to the buyer broker.

EARN THE MARK OF EXCELLENCE

The Mark of Excellence's goal is to promote professionalism in the industry by recognizing members for their participation at the local, state, and national levels of the REALTOR® organization. The Mark of Excellence Application must be completed every year.

The deadline to apply is December 7, 2024.

EARN THE NE REALTOR® PRO CERTIFICATION

The Nebraska REALTOR® Pro certification is designed to encourage professionalism and reward members engaged in their association and community.

The deadline to apply is December 15.

APPLY NOW FOR THE 2025 ROOKIE SCHOLARSHIP

Each year, we offer 10 Rookie Scholarships for the GRI Rookie Training Class. Agents will receive in-depth information and hands-on training regarding the listing, selling, marketing of property and management of a real estate career.

The deadline to apply is December 31.

CHRISTIE BEVINGTON GRI SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship covers the cost of the six required GRI classes, totaling $1,394.00. Each class is priced at $249.00, except for Rookie Training/GRI 101, which is $149.00. Eligible applicants must be new to the GRI program and been licensed for less than five years.

The deadline to apply is December 31.

GRI: ETHICS & LEGAL ISSUES (0806R)

GRI 103: Legal Issues (0806R), led by Leigh York—an experienced authority in real estate law and ethics—is a comprehensive 2-day course. Participants gain essential knowledge to navigate legal complexities, ensuring ethical compliance and enhancing their professional practice in real estate.

This course contributes toward earning your GRI designation, fulfilling one of the six required courses.

For those attending the entire GRI 103 course, the 3-hour ‘R’ CE Code of Ethics (COE) credit is automatically granted without separate registration.

However, if other REALTORS® need to complete their COE requirement, they can register separately for the final 3 hours of the course. This segment exclusively focuses on fulfilling the COE requirement (as outlined in “Under All is the Land”).

Please ensure you only register for one course. Attendees who participate in the entirety of GRI 103 will receive the 3 hours COE credit, with no separate registration needed.
