September, 2024
Dear Friends,
August was a big month as HVO turned 38 and we unveiled our 2023 annual report. I always enjoy looking back over some of our favorite highlights and seeing just how much we accomplished together over the year. In 2023 alone, volunteers provided 28,756 hours of training in 19 countries.
Each of our 38 years has brought more partners, more programs, and more milestones to celebrate. Each year brings new challenges, and each year we rise together to meet them. We have not just envisioned a world with quality health care for all, we are building it step by step. Thank you all for being a part of it.
Sincerely,
April
April Pinner, MSPH, RD

Seeking Proposals for Long-Term Volunteer Project
|
|
|
The Feinberg Fellowship is an HVO initiative supporting projects that require volunteers to be on-site for 3-6 months. The site proposes a project to HVO, and, once approved, HVO recruits volunteers and provides airfare and a small stipend. If you are an on-site coordinator, project director, or volunteer who knows of a need that could be met by a long-term volunteer and would like to discuss starting a project, please contact Lisa Vu, Director of Programs.
