A note from our Chamber director
Julia Bryant
I had the privilege of being invited to the Alliance for Economic Development quarterly Board Meeting/lunch today in Greenville. It was a very informative and positive experience having the opportunity to hear from representatives of surrounding towns in Hunt county.

We were gathered for the common good of the entire county and discussed ways we felt the Alliance could bring everyone
together to boost economic development. The question we asked ourselves was “what can we do to improve where we’re going?".

A surprise came with Congressman John Ratcliffe dropped in to say a few words. He let us know that he is willing to pick up the phone and call on our behalf to:
1.  Businesses we may want to see in our area, and
2.  Businesses we may not want to see leave our area.

I look forward to being involved more extensively with this group as we determine the best way to move forward with our growth and infrastructure in Hunt County.
