ATID Update - a Note from
Rabbi Musnitsky

In 1892 the British novelist Violet Fane wrote: "All good things come to those who wait!"  The verse is quoted regularly to extol the virtue of patience. This has been the very quality we working on ATID use as our inspiration. We are now "waiting" for our three contractor bids on our elevator tower and the interior projects.  In addition, we are working to finalize our fundraising efforts and begin the excitement of celebrating our accomplishments.

Of special note has been the addition of our "accessible"  Bimah. Since its construction, we have been witness to the emotional experience for several families as they welcomed grandparents and relatives to the  Torah for an  Aliyah in wheelchairs and with walkers.  It is gratifying, heartwarming and thrilling to be able to fulfill this  mitzvah!

We thank all of you who have helped our dreams to come true and look forward to having you marvel in the progress yet to come!

MAC Helps for the Holidays

Thank you to all the Secret Snowmen who bought gifts for the kids at the Martin Luther King Center. For many of these kids, the gifts they receive from us are their only ones. Thank you also to everyone who donated food and toys and helped at El Centro. Both MLK and El Centro know they can count on Temple Har Shalom for holiday help and cheer.

Toys, gift cards and TURKEYS are still being collected until December 18th.
Please bring toys to the red bins, gift cards to the Education Office and turkeys to the kitchen freezer. Please notify the main office if you do plan to bring in a turkey.

Next up - Blood Drive on THS Day of Service on Sunday, January 15th, 8:30am - 1:30 pm.

Have a mitzvah project in mind? Want to help with some of the ones that are scheduled?
