Message for Our Congregational Meeting 2017/5777
By Rabbi Randi Musnitsky

Unlike years past, when my remarks would focus on our programmatic year accomplishments, I want tonight to use my few moments as Rabbi and teacher. Always the Torah offers guidance and insight. This week's portion is no different. The opening of the 4th book of Torah, Bamidbar, Numbers, concerns itself with the very first census taken of the Israelite people. It is similar in nature to this concluding meeting. Attention is given to the practicalities of running the organization of the Israelite people. There are by-laws to ponder; budgets to balance; facilities and a sanctuary to maintain; and people of all ages to be fed, cared for, educated, blessed, married and buried. It all sounds very familiar!

Thank You to All Who Made the  6th Annual Touch-a-Truck A Great Success!
By Rachel Rosenblatt & Stefanie Lesnik

On May 21 Mountain Top School and Temple Har Shalom hosted the 6th annual Touch-a-Truck event at the Warren Middle School. On a beautiful and sunny day, this seminal event attracted nearly 1,100 community members to interact with and learn more about the vehicles that provide valuable services to our county. Supported by over 30 local businesses, our event raised valuable funds for our School and Temple's programming and educational endeavors.

Sisterhood Ends Another Year in Style!
By Meredith Landau, Sisterhood Vice President, Communications

More than 100 women attended the 2017 Sisterhood Fashion Show "Your Day - Your Way." A special thanks to our co-chairs Sheri Cohen and Anna Bryant, and our beautiful models who rocked the runway wearing fashions from Plumm NYC and Windswept of Mendham: Debbie Davis, Jennifer Paradise, Amy Novek, Caroline Dicks, Andrea Berez and Allie Huresky. A big thank you to our wonderful Fashion Show Committee for making the evening a huge success. Many area businesses supported our event and donated items. Please thank them when you visit their stores and businesses.
