December 2018
Message From Our Co-Presidents
Dear Friends,

Hanukkah starts tonight and it is a time to celebrate the holiness of light and enjoy latkes and jelly doughnuts. It is also a time for stories, playing dreidel and singing songs. This past week, Sisterhood held a festive Hanukkah Party featuring music by our talented clergy and staff. This coming week, we will sing and play dreidel with family and more friends.

Hanukkah is a holiday of hope. We wish you joy and blessings throughout the eight special days and the months ahead.

Warmly,
Lisa Pompan & Leslie Wachtel

Supporting Alice and Nahum Lainer School
Every year, Sisterhood supports our exceptional day school by purchasing an ad for the Annual Gala and providing holiday treats for the students on Rosh Hashanah, Hanukkah and Tu B’Shevat. This year, we are also supporting “A Night at the Pier” and providing valuable resources to Adeena Fitterman and Rebecca Kekst, who are organizing a group of Sinai Temple and Lainer School community members traveling to Poland for the 2019 March of the Living. Click HERE to learn about the mission. Registration is still open.
