Message From Our Co-Presidents
|
|
Dearest Sisters,
As our days blend into each other because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is often little to get excited about. July will be an exception, and we can participate from the safety of our homes – the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism’s 2020 Virtual Convention. This year, we’ll be provided with a wonderful opportunity to participate without packing, flying, staying in a hotel, and spending money!
The convention takes place from 7am to 3pm Pacific Daylight Time. If you’d rather sleep in, you’ll miss out on a morning tefillin service, but do join in for an engaging social justice program with our own Rabbi Cheryl Peretz of AJU and others. Hear our own Sisterhood be celebrated along with others as a Jewel in the Crown winner, take Sisterhood Training Workshops, vote for incoming officers, attend the installation ceremony, and be treated to a concert.
The registration process is easy – click on the registration below to get started… See you online next week! Stay safe & healthy…
B’shalom,
Marcy Melton & Lina Pournazarian

We have contributed to virtual ads for display at the upcoming Women’s League Convention 2020. We are pleased to honor our own Jina Rezvanpour, President of the Pacific Southwest Region and the Incoming/Outgoing International President and Board of Directors. Our donation supports the WLCJ mission “to strengthen and unite synagogue women’s groups… in mutual efforts to understand and perpetuate Conservative/Masorti Judaism”.
