November 21 - Mingle with Sisterhood members, eat treats and learn about our AIPAC initiative at our Sisterhood Membership Salon.

December 10 - Celebrate Hanukkah with Sisterhood. Enjoy entertainment and a luncheon, including latkes.

Packing with Purpose

Please join us at our Sisterhood board meeting on Tuesday, November 5. With the support of our Social Action Committee, we will pack bags for the UCLA Food Closet to help ensure that no student has to sacrifice nutrition while pursuing higher education.

This year's Abner & Roslyn Goldstine Scholar-In-Residence is Dr. Matthew Levitt , Fromer-Wexler Fellow at The Washington Institute and Director of its Jeanette and Eli Reinhard Program on Counterterrorism and Intelligence. There are a variety of events and sessions throughout the Scholar-In-Residence weekend. 
Night with the LA Clippers

Sit with Sinai Temple and its schools in grouped, discounted seats and watch the Clippers take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Battle of My Life

Join Sisterhood in partnership with the Men’s Club and Israel Center for this musical presentation of Nir Rubin’s The Battle of My Life . We will also learn about the organization Peace of Mind and the work they do for IDF Veterans transitioning back into civilian life. Free to attend and open to the public.
Project Outreach: Hanukkah

Sisterhood delivers food to elderly, ill and homebound people before Hanukkah. We receive names of recipients from Jewish Family Service. Giving two hours of your time to deliver food to housebound seniors will make your whole day!

This Rosh Hodesh Club will celebrate the month of Tevet at a private home.The cost of the evening is $15 per person, which includes dinner and a program. All Sisterhood members are invited, but reservations are necessary. Pending interest we may have to cancel this meeting, so please RSVP to Edie Nitzberg at (310) 471-0886 as soon as you are able.
