Summer Day Camp Reminder: Blue Club Shirts Required Daily!

All members are required to wear their Blue Club shirt every day during our Summer Day Camp programs.

Want to grab your shirts before camp kicks off on Monday, June 9th?

We’ll be available for early pick-up on:

Thursday, June 5th | 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

📍 Oceano Clubhouse – 1830 19th Street (Bright Blue Building)

Can’t make it? No worries! Shirts will also be available for purchase at each camp site.

Cost: $5.00 each

Welcome to the Summer Science Lab, where curiosity leads the way! This week is all about experimenting, exploring, and asking “why?” Youth will dive into fun hands-on activities that spark imagination and scientific thinking. From building contraptions to testing hypotheses, each young scientist will have the chance to invent, observe, and discover something new. Whether it's chemistry, physics, or earth science—this week is full of explosive fun (the safe kind, of course)!

Great Summers Start Here!

Get ready for an unforgettable summer filled with fun, learning, and adventure at our 2025 Summer Day Camp! We’re excited to offer a safe, welcoming space where TK–6th grade youth can explore, grow, and make lifelong memories. Each day brings something new—from hands-on activities and creative play to weekly field trips and special guest speakers!

Program Dates: June 9 – August 8, 2025

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Open to all current TK–6th graders (2024–2025 school year)

Important Info:

• No reimbursements will be issued under any circumstances.
• Financial Aid and CAPSLO accepted.
• A blue Boys & Girls Club T-shirt is required daily ($5 each, available for purchase).
• Families must review and sign the Parent Handbook prior to participation.
• Enrollment is first-come, first-served—space is limited!
• A $25 late fee applies for payments made after the enrollment deadline (see flyer for due dates).
• Camp will be closed on June 19 and July 4.

How to Enroll: Enrollment opens Monday, April 29 at 10 AM at bgcslo.org/breakcamps.

To secure your child’s spot, both the online application and payment must be completed before attendance.

Weekly Rate: $150 per youth
