Your Spring 2021 CARES Act Grant
Dear Bengal,

Idaho State University processed an additional CARES Act distribution amount for you.

Today's amount closes out the remaining CARES Act HEERF I student federal grant funds that were available for Idaho State students. Since there was only a small amount remaining after the Fall 2020 distribution, the University limited today’s distribution to high need students (Pell Grant recipients with a zero Expected Family Contribution) enrolled for Spring 2021 who had received CARES Act Emergency Grants in 2020.

The amount of your CARES grant is based on your FAFSA information and your Spring 2021 enrollment (see table below).
Spring 2021
Disbursed: April 14
The grant is intended to help you with expenses, including course materials, distance-based technology, food, housing, health care, and childcare.

If you signed up for an e-refund, the disbursement will be transferred into your account at your financial institution. Students who did not previously sign up for an e-refund will be mailed a paper check to the mailing address on file.

Please note that the distribution of COVID-19 relief grants under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF II) is still pending at ISU. Watch your ISU email and visit the CARES/HEERF II Funding website for updates.

If you have questions about your e-refund, please call the Idaho State Cashier's Office at (208) 282-2900. For questions related to FAFSA or your disbursement amount, contact Financial Aid at (208) 282-2756 or finaidem@isu.edu.

Roar, Bengals, Roar!
