Imperial Valley College agriculture students have an exciting opportunity to take the next step in their academic and career journey through the 2026 USDA Learning to Lead Agriculture Scholarship Program in partnership with the University of Arizona Yuma.
This program supports students transferring in Fall 2026 with:
- Up to $30,000 in scholarships ($15,000 per year for two years)
- $5,200 paid internship stipend (320 hours of hands-on training)
Eligible students must be pursuing a degree in Agriculture Business or Agriculture Plant Science and transfer into one of the following bachelor’s programs:
- Agricultural Systems Management
- Sustainable Plant Systems
