The Squash BC Board of Directors is taking nominations for the position of President, and Vice President positions in Finance, Membership and Player Development. This is a great opportunity to give back to the community and help shape the strategic vision of squash in British Columbia.  More information regarding preferred qualifications and nomination procedure can be found  on our website . The nomination deadline is April 30, 2016.

Squash BC is looking to maximize our athletes performance at the 2019 Canada Winter Games so we are seeking a Squash Coach and Team Manager. More information on the respective volunteer positions are here. The application deadline is April 1, 2016.

Tournament Recaps

It has been a busy past few weeks with both the Adult and Junior BC Championships taking place. Both tournaments saw some exciting matches while crowning lots of new BC Champions!

Congratulations to Sarfarz Ahmed and Giselle Delgado for taking the Open trophies at the BC Closed Championships. A further congratulations to Matthew Toth, Grace Thomas, Andrew Toth, Ryan Picken, Lucia Bicknell, John Dempsey, Gosha Iazvenko, Sarah Cao, Christian Yuen, Joseph Toth, and Katy Herring for winning their respective divisions at the BC Junior Championships. Singles Officiating certification is available through the online course offered by Squash Canada. It's a great way to get more comfortable with the rules and the calls. It can be taken entirely online, at your own pace. Once you complete the course, you are a certified "Club" official.
