Dr. Craig Goff
From the Pastor

This week is Holy Week.    On Sunday we commemorated Jesus' triumphal entry into the city of Jerusalem.  The palm branches we waved will be used at next year's Ash Wednesday service.

On Thursday, we will remember the night before Jesus' death when he gave his disciples the new commandment to love each other as he distributed the bread and wine to them following their meal together in the Upper Room...

Youth News

We are going hiking on Good Friday, March 30th! Most everyone should be on Spring Break that week, so we will spend a day doing some hiking, seeing nature, and getting to know each other better! We will plan to meet at the church in the morning and go to a nearby state park for the day, returning mid-afternoon. The hike will be for all skill levels (no climbing any mountains!), so everyone is encouraged to attend!
As usual, the youth will be leading the Easter Sunday Sunrise Service. The youth have been busy planning the service, from the songs to the message being delivered. We would like to invite everyone to start your Easter Sunday off with us. The service starts at 7:00 am and there will be a biscuit breakfast after the service!

We are now taking registrations for the Junior High Mission trip!!   For the trip this year, we will be headed down to Atlanta July 8th through 13th. We will be working with the organization The DOOR, whose mission is to "See the face of God in the City". The cost of the trip is $300 which includes everything for the week. For details and to sign up please go to and click on the Junior High Mission link on the front page.  A $50 deposit is due with registration by April the 15th.
