Celebrating Fathers this Sunday!

In honor of Father's Day we invite everyone to wear Hawaiian shirts to church. Join us as we honor fathers and those who have been like fathers to us.

Coffee Hour + Adult Education

This week our coffee hour will be doubly festive as we honor Jeanne Cassell on her birthday, and the Green Team provides refreshments and Creation-centered activities. We will be joined by Steve "Dr. Dark" Pauley and Mark Nelson who will show us how to use a solar scope to view the heavens!

 St. Thomas Design Work Update

You are invited to a Design Update and Informational Session following the 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday, June 28!

St. Thomas Choir

Curious about the choir? July 1, 5:00 is BRING A FRIEND TO CHOIR DAY, and you're all the choir's friends! We will rehearse a few well-known hymns and anthems, and celebrate with some snacks afterwards. Contact Joel Bejot or any choir member for more information. Thank you!

Inquirer’s Class 2026

Join us for Adult Ed this summer as we explore

the Christian faith and practice in The Episcopal Church

Sundays at 11:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall

Please let Jonah or Kathleen know if you are interested in the class!

July 12: The English Reformation and the American Revolution. The fascinating history of The Anglican Church and its American expression in The Episcopal Church.

July 19: Getting to know God: Anglican Spirituality and Practices

Whether it’s traditional worship and music, or ancient contemplative practices, the breadth and depth of Anglican devotional practice offers something for everyone. Learn more about what we mean by “sacraments” and the richness of our tradition of devotional practices.

July 26: Scripture and Following in the Way of Jesus. The Bible is an ancient library of texts consisting of story, poetry, prophecy and instruction. As Episcopalians we seek to interpret the scriptures in our own time and context, using reason to sift out the deep truths, wisdom and guidance for our lives.

August 2: The Church in Action at St. Thomas: Welcome and Outreach

St. Thomas aspires to be both a welcoming congregation and an outward facing one, taking the love of Christ to our neighbors here in the Wood River Valley and beyond. Come discuss the ways in which welcome and service are an essential part of our spiritual lives.

Six: Teen Edition features 11 actors in two casts (Tiaras + Crowns) in a feminist and rockin' musical that is sure to make you want to dance and cheer on our queen or the wives of Henry VIII. This production is our Summer Theater Project show for teens and young adults and is a completely free pre-professional intensive program. Thank you to our faithful donors for making it all possible!

Subject Warning: Six has adult themes (abuse, trauma, infidelity, and execution) and is recommended for ages 12+. If you have any questions please email Sara, sgorby@stthomassv.org

Company B Theater Day Camp's production of Shrek Jr features 96 children ages 4 years old through 8th grade from across our community and beyond.

Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical JR., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.

Summer Break

Mary Jacobs, Director of Sunday School and Nursery at St. Thomas, will be on furlough from June 16 to August 15. If you have any questions about children's programs during this time, please contact Reverend Kathleen at 415-823-5378 or kbean@stthomassv.org
