Judi Fuller

Judianne was raised in Tacoma, Washington.  She spent late high-school and college years at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs where she and her brother continued their training in figure skating. They were two-time US Senior Pair champions and represented the US at three world championships and the 1964 Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria.  Thanks to a scholarship to Colorado College, she graduated in 1966 with a B.A. in German.

In late 1977 she and her family moved from California to Sun Valley, seeking a better environment to raise their three daughters. While in Sun Valley, Judianne had multiple careers: owner/manager of a hotel complex, travel agent, manager of a large real estate firm, private CFO of a local development company and most recently the Parish Administrator of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.

Over the past 30 years she has been involved with many charitable organizations, including the Moritz Hospital Auxiliary, the Community Library, the Senior Connection, and the Sage School.

News from the Green Team: St. Thomas is Composting!

In January, St. Thomas began to compost our kitchen waste. Thanks to the dogged determination of our own Sandra Willingham and the support of Eve Preucil Cord, Sustainability Manager for Blaine County, our church is part of a county-wide composting initiative of restaurants and other community organizations. All our Clear Creek Disposal fees for collection of the compost are covered by a grant for the entire year. Thanks to our KCDC and Hospitality teams for their enthusiastic support!

Office Updates

St. Thomas Playhouse has moved into the (former) Classroom 1, which will officially become their new office space. This change means we will have one fewer meeting room available, so we appreciate your patience as we adjust and begin using other spaces for gatherings.

The remaining space in the main office will be occupied by Mary Jacobs, Sunday School Director and a future Development position for the Capital Campaign.

Souper Olympics Thank You

The KCDC Steering Committee thanks you for your gold medal performance in the Souper Olympics!

Next week, Atkinsons Market will deliver 40 cases of Amy's soup to us. We will use those 480 cans of soup for participants with food allergies, for when we run short on meals, or for when people just need a little extra.

Like Team USA, we did this together, and could not have done it without you! THANK YOU!

UPDATED SCHEDULE

Inspired: Slaying Giants, Walking on Water, and Loving the Bible Again

By, Rachel Held Evans

About the Book (Amazon):

Undaunted by the Bible's most difficult passages and unafraid to ask the hard questions, Evans wrestles through the process of doubting, imagining, and debating the mysteries surrounding Scripture. Discover alongside Evans that the Bible is not a static text, but a living, breathing, captivating, and confounding book that can equip us and inspire us to join God's loving and redemptive work in the world.
