Bishop's Farewell

This Sunday, May 15 at 4:00 p.m. St. Thomas will be hosting a farewell to Bishop Brian and Ardele for the Central Deanery. Other churches from the Deanery will be participating in and attending this farewell celebration. It is sure to be a fun and meaningful event.  Bishop Brian has emphatically asked that no gifts be presented. What he would prefer is that in lieu of gifts, donations be made to Paradise Point - an outreach project dear to his heart. If you would like to participate in this way to thank Bp. Brian for his years of service in the Diocese of Idaho, please either:

 - Write a check to The Episcopal Diocese of Idaho, noting in the memo line - Brian Thom PP Endowment.

Checks can be dropped off at St. Thomas, presented at reception on May 15th or sent to:

                           The Episcopal Diocese of Idaho

                           1858 W. Judith Ln., Boise, ID 83705

 - Donate online at the Diocesan Website

Happy May and I guess Spring is here!

We have a wonderful NAGS* event planned for Thursday May 26th at 4pm at the Sun Valley Culinary Institute. Fellow parishioner, Karl Uri, who is Executive Director will give us a tour and tell us about all of the incredible things going on at the Culinary Institute. We will have cold beverages afterwards at 5:30 in the upstairs in case you cannot make the tour.  Please RSVP just to me- Robert Shuford - if you are planning to make this event. Need to give Karl a head count. Thank You Karl!

Church Database

Over the past several months, the database of all church members has been slowly migrated from an older program to a new online platform called REALM.

Each member of St. Thomas will be sent an email invitation to join REALM by creating their own sign-in password. Only YOU will know what it is. This is a secure system which is administered by the church office. By choosing to participate in REALM, you will be able to update your own contact information and will be able to see the contact information of other participating parish members.

Please note that only St. Thomas members who have submitted a membership form have been migrated to this new system. So, if you do NOT receive an email invitation to join REALM in the next week, please contact the office so we can catch up on the paperwork! And don’t worry, you are not alone. There are many people who have attended St. Thomas faithfully over the years, but have never filled out a membership form. We do hope you will now, though, as it is important for us to maintain an accurate record of our current membership.

If you would like to include a photo, either of your self or your family, we have the ability to add this to your profile. How nice for newcomers to be able to put a face and name together as they get to know others in the parish!

You can now link directly to REALM through our website. Click on “Member Login” on the lower task bar.

We hope that this new system will prove useful to you. If you have any questions about Realm, please contact Judi in the office. 208-726-5349 or

Coming next September, weekly study and discussion with the small group seminar course EDUCATION FOR MINISTRY. In past years we have met at the church on weekday mornings but that depends on who joins the group. To get books and other materials shipped on time, we must sign up by July. Linda Bergerson or Judi Fuller can answer your questions; EfM Sunday coming soon!

You can now submit prayer list requests online!
