State Bar Lawyer Referral Services Changes
The State Bar is implementing two changes to Lawyer Referral Services in 2017. First, all current LRS panel attorneys must renew their membership in the referral programs no later than Feb. 28. Second, LRS referral panel attorneys must have malpractice insurance in the  minimum amount recommended by NMRA 16-104 and certify that they have sufficient expertise in practice areas they accept referrals. Call for Nominations: Outstanding Advocacy for Women Award
The Committee on Women and the Legal Profession invites nominations for New Mexico attorneys who have distinguished themselves by advocating for causes that will ultimately benefit and/or further the rights of women. Submit nominations to Zoe Lees by Jan. 31.
