It takes months, perhaps years, to complete the design of most building projects to obtain a construction permit. Only then, the actual construction can begin. At this stage, the design team must remain actively involved during and throughout construction.

One of the main factors in achieving an accurate execution of the project design is the quality of the construction documents. Complete, clear and coordinated documents make their interpretation and understanding by suppliers, fabricators and contractors straightforward. It leads to a timely completion of the building structure, which is a critical milestone in maintaining the overall project schedule. Once the primary structure is completed, multiple construction trades are able to begin work on site at the same time.

Keeping the structural phase of work on schedule is important. That's why our engineers go beyond providing the minimum requirements of the construction administration phase of work. In addition to processing shop drawings, RFI's and submittals, we also provide on-site structural observations and regular communication with contractors.

WHITNEY PARK AQUATIC CENTER AND SPLASH PAD


Clark County recently broke ground for this new aquatic center at Whitney Park.

LOCATION: Boulder Highway and Tropicana Avenue; Las Vegas, Nevada

PROJECT SUMMARY: Design and construction of a new aquatic center with 5,093 SF pool building and 2,196 SF pool maintenance and equipment building and about 18,000 SF of outdoor pools and deck, water play structures, water slides and shade structures.
