MAKE US YOUR GUIDE TO SUMMER

THE SEASON IS HERE.

LET'S MAKE THE MOST OF IT

Schoharie County summer fills up fast. Fireworks over ground where history actually happened, live music spilling out onto brewery stages, ice cream worth crossing the county for, and enough going on to fill every weekend between now and the last warm night of the season. The kind of summer that makes you wonder why you ever go anywhere else.

Settle in, there is a lot of good stuff ahead.

STARS, STRIPES & SCHOHARIE COUNTY

Revolutionary War history runs through this valley like a current. It is in the places, the family names, and the land itself. This is a place that lived the founding of this country, and every summer it finds a new reason to celebrate it. There are few places where the Fourth of July feels this earned. Pack the kids, find a good spot, and let Schoharie County handle the rest.

YOUR ICE CREAM GUIDE

Soft serve, hard scoop, farm fresh, and everything in between. Schoharie County takes its ice cream seriously, and the spots worth knowing are spread across the whole county. From roadside stands to farm fresh scoops with a view, this is your field guide to the sweetest stops around. Required reading before the season gets away from you.

THE SUMMER SOUNDTRACK

Brewery stages, outdoor venues, and the kind of live music that sounds better with a cold drink in hand. Schoharie County has a full summer soundtrack and it is worth building your weekends around. From intimate patio sets to sprawling stages, every spot worth showing up for is right here in one place.

MORE TO EXPLORE

THE STORIES JEFFERSON KEPT

Local research, museum collections, and the stories of a village that has always known who it is. A perfect listen before Heritage Day.

BIG TREE HUNTING

The stories behind the trees, the collections, and the people who have dedicated their lives to this land are all on the mic.

COOLEST SPOTS IN THE COUNTY

Two caverns, one valley, and temperatures that never get the memo about summer. Howe Caverns and Secret Caverns are the coolest spots in Schoharie County and we mean that literally.
