It's Homecoming Week!!!
We hope everyone is excited to share in valley pride this week!
Our spirit day themes are listed below. We will cap off the week with a homecoming pep rally Friday! Remember Friday is a half day 10:15am early dismissal.
Please plan on joining us for Friday's Homecoming parade and football game!
Saturday we cap off our celebrations with the Homecoming Dance at SVHS from 6pm-9pm.

National English Honors Society (NEHS) applications are available, starting today, outside of Miss. Mancarella or Miss. Starinieri’s rooms. Applications are DUE NO LATER than Monday, October 9th. ATTENTION STUDENTS:
Looking for something to do on a Friday night? IceWorks is holding “School Nights” on certain Fridays over the next 2 to 3 months.
Sun Valley's night will be Friday, October 13th, starting at 7:30pm. For the price of $13 (this includes skates), student’s must show their school IDs.

Attention Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors, class ring orders will be accepted and measurements taken on Tuesday, September 26th during all school lunches in the Cafeteria. You may also submit your order at www.sscrings.com anytime before then.
Representatives from Student Services Company will be here to answer questions and to assist you with your order. All class rings ordered on or by September 26th will be delivered this December before Winter Break.
All ordering materials are available on the website. If you would prefer a "hard" packet, you can pick one up in the main office.

Do you like to eat Chick-Fil-A? Do you like to help out others in your community? Are you looking for another club to put on your resume? If so, join the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy this school year. The Math Honor Society will have a brief meeting on Tuesday, September 26th after school in the MIC. All current members should plan on attending. Penn-Delco is once again offering optional insurance coverage for accidental damage, loss, or theft of school issued Chromebooks in the middle and high school. For anyone interested in joining the Cappies Critic team this year, there will be a brief meeting on Thursday, September 26th after school in B-46 with Mr. Macri. This club is for students who want to see shows from high schools around the area for free and receive some feedback on writing reviews. It's a great opportunity for writers and actors alike!

Attention Gamers: If you are looking for something fun to do after school, like to game, and want to meet new friends, come to Mr. DiProspero's room, C88, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:15 until 3:15 and test your skills.

Please note that Penn-Delco provides a late bus everyday Monday through Thursdays only. Students should be in the lobby before 3:45 p.m. Please check with the driver to make sure you board the appropriate bus. Please note that there is NO late bus on Fridays.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test (ASVAB)
The ASVAB test will be administered at Sun Valley on Thursday, September 28th , for juniors and seniors. Any seniors who don’t have an ACT 158 pathway yet are highly encouraged to sign up for this exam. Juniors and seniors interested in a career in the military should also sign up to take this exam. The Google form sign up can be located in the Class of 2024 and Class of 2025 Schoology groups. Sign ups will close on Monday, September 25th
