Message from Sun Valley Admin
Week of 11/11/24-11/15/24
| |
Hello Sun Valley Families!
We would like to thank all those who have served our country! Thank you for your service!
This week begins marking period 2!
Marking period 1 ended this past Friday. Report cards for marking period
1 will be posted this Friday November 15th.
Wednesday November the 13th is World Kindness Day. We
ask all our stakeholders to go out of their way to do something kind for
someone tomorrow. From a simple uplifting text message to someone
you don't normally message with to sharing a compliment to someone
there are so many ways we can uplift kindness. Let's help our
community smile more :)
This Thursday Sun Valley brings back the Junior Class Roadtrip where all 11th grade students will get an opportunity to visit a post secondary school that aligns to their interests. We are excited for our students to be able to have this opportunity as a group.
Have a great week! Keep up the great work!

MYLA LEON
Selected by: Mrs. Gentile
Myla is very hard working and always stays on top of her assignments. She is one of the first to raise her hand and participate in class, and she gives very thoughtful answers. She is a very conscientious student and I always appreciate her effort.
| | | |
|
SKYLAR MCCONE
Selected by: Mrs. Gentile
Skylar is one of the first to volunteer in class and positively contribute to class discussions. She is always attentive and very polite; she goes out of her way to say hi to me and Miss H every morning! Skylar is a hard worker and has great insights into our novel and characters. I appreciate her willingness to share her thoughts and help her classmates!
| | | |
|
ZACH JOSTEN
Selected by: Ms. Turk
Zach does an excellent job in chemistry class. He participates regularly, is helpful to his classmates, and works hard to understand the material. He exemplifies the values of respect, personal responsibility, and kindness. Keep up the great work Zach!
| | | |
|
AVA FURMAN
Ava is rising to the challenge of honors chemistry this year! She works hard to understand the material, doesn't take shortcuts, and always does the right thing. When working with others, I can count on her to ensure everyone in the group is learning and contributing. Keep up the good work Ava!
| | | |
|
ROCCO RADICO
Rocco is thoughtful, hard working, respectful, and participatory in class. He is ready to offer an answer or ask a relevant question. He is prepared for class, each day, and adds to classroom discussions. Recently, while walking home from school, he saw that a house and yard was on fire. Rocco stepped right in, found the home’s hose, and put out the fire, before the fire company arrived, possibly saving the life of the resident, inside. He gave a truly heroic effort.
| | | |
|
MARK FARNSWORTH
Mark has been a positive force, in class, since day one. He is conscientious about his work, participates in class, has a positive attitude, is respectful, and is kind to everyone. He is laser focused on earning distinguished honor roll, for the first time. And, it looks like he is going to achieve his goal.
