Message from Principal Roskos

Week of 09/18/23 to 09/22/23

Our first full week is complete!

This past week we held our first official lockdown and fire drill. We thank everyone for taking all safety drills seriously with respect to the details.

Friday we began our first automatic email notifications to families for students who had below a 70 on their overall grade in a class.

Eligibility for the homecoming dance will be ran this Friday. Please note their is much more information below about homecoming eligibility.

There are a ton of things happening around Sun Valley. Please read all the information throughout the remainder of the newsletter.

Hopefully you can join us this Wednesday at 5:30 via zoom for our PTL meeting and Thursday in person for Back to School night from 6:00pm-8:00pm. We will be sending home a copy of your students schedule for Thursday night for you to follow.

Thank you for all you do to support our students as we prepare them for life! If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out!

Thank you,

CLASS RING SALES!

Sun Valley students are getting ready to order their official Sun Valley High School Class Rings. A time-honored tradition, your student will wear their custom class ring with pride for years to come! The program is introduced to the sophomore class, but juniors and seniors are invited to participate as well if they haven't already.

Please take a moment to view this short class ring presentation: here

You can view our digital class ring brochure here, and attached is the class ring order form and price list for download as well.

You can submit your student's class ring order by going to sscrings.com and following the steps.

The deadline for all orders is September 26th!

You can upload the completed class ring order form online, or have them hand in the order to the representatives during lunches on September 26th!

All rings ordered by the deadline will be delivered in school before Winter Break this December, giving your child an optimal amount of time to wear his/her ring while still in high school and making this purchase a great holiday gift idea!
