STUDENTS OF THE WEEK

RACHEL KINDRED

Rachel is a fantastic student to have in class! She asks great questions, takes awesome AP notes, and works hard each class to ensure she understands the material. Her effort and participation are appreciated.

ANGELINA ELLIS

Angelina is an incredibly hard worker as she takes on the challenge of AP US History. It is clear she cares about her learning and sets a high standard for herself which she meets each day. Her work ethic and effort is appreciated each day of class.

EMERSON COLEMAN

Emerson is a dedicated and persistent student who has consistently given time and effort toward their goals. Emerson has spent countless hours developing their skills on the wheel and that time has really paid off. In addition, they are always helpful to other students and spend time helping me to reclaim clay and experiment with glaze combinations. I have truly never seen such dedication from a student and it has been wonderful to experience. Emerson arrives to first period with a positive attitude and that energy is contagious throughout the classroom. I’m always excited to see what they do next. They are a pleasure to have in class.

EMILY SIMCOX

Emily is a creative student who always goes above and beyond in the Ceramics classroom. She works with such strong craftsmanship and care for her work each and every time. Emily is detail oriented, works well beyond requirements, and has an intuitive sensibility when working with clay. I am always excited to see what she will create and I’m looking forward to see her blossom into a true artist in the next two years at Sun Valley.
