STUDENTS OF THE WEEK

LUCI DAMICO

Nominated by: Mr. Moletteri

I selected Luci as student of the week due to her dedication to Sun Valley. Luci is a 3 sport athlete, playing girls tennis, basketball and lacrosse. This year, she has also stepped in to a leadership role as vice president of the junior class, where she has jumped in helping plan class events, and taking a key role in the homecoming float prep. Thanks for all you do Luci.

JOEY SCHLOEGEL

Nominated by: Mr. Moletteri

I am choosing Joey as student of the week because of the positive energy he brings to Sun Valley. Not a day goes by that I do not see Joey engaging with staff and students in a respectful and responsible manner. Joey never fails to say hello in the hallways and the cafeteria. Thanks Joey for being great Sun Valley student.

BRAEDEN DIGIOVANNI

Nominated by Ms. DiPietro

At the start of the school year, I checked in with a lot of students to see how their first few weeks were going. This year, Braeden's name continued to come up over and over again in these meetings. He is welcoming in new students to Sun Valley and also getting them very involved after school. Braeden is an exceptional student, and an even kinder person. He is involved in an impressive 10+ extracurricular activities and teams. I'm always so glad when I get to see his smile in the lobby. I am also impressed more and more each year with his time management skills, his dedication, and his kindness to others.

CHLOE D'ANGELO

Nominated by Ms. DiPietro

Chloe D'Angelo and Tori Wiciak are starting an Astronomy Club this month! They are an incredible team and put together a very strong proposal for Sun Valley to begin on this initiative -- it was quickly approved! I'm excited to see them stepping into this kind of leadership

VICTORIA WICIAK

Tori Wiciak and Chloe D'Angelo are starting an Astronomy Club this month! They are an incredible team and put together a very strong proposal for Sun Valley to begin on this initiative -- it was quickly approved! I'm excited to see them stepping into this kind of leadership and I know that all who get to work with Chloe and Tori will be very lucky, both this year and ahead in their post-high school years. It's been an honor to work and plan with them, and witness their focus, organization, and passion come to life!
