Message from Principal Roskos

Week of 10/30/23 to 11/03/23

Hello Sun Valley Families!

Happy Halloween!

As we approach the end of October it is a great time to review your students progress with them. Please take a moment to go through with them their grades in Schoology. Quarter 1 ends on November 10th with report cards being posted on November 18th! SVHS offers tutoring if your student is struggling in a particular area. Please take advantage of this by requesting through your student's teacher or administration.

This week on Thursday, all students will attend a presentation called AVOID from Holcomb on Vaping prevention. This presentation will cover the harmful effects of vaping and the tricks companies use to get teens using them.

Please be reminded for the following week, Monday November 6th and Tuesday November 7th there is no school for students.

Finally, please ensure you scroll through this entire newsletter as there is so much information on the happenings around SVHS! We continue to thank you for your continued support making SVHS a great place to be!

Thank you,

Principal, John Paul Roskos
