We congratulate Kristina Harrison-Antell (CA) and Juilliard DG, this year's recipients of our $25,000 Anne L. Barlow-Ramsay Grant for U.S.-Bred Horses

Juilliard DG is an 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood owned by Emily Murray and bred by DG Bar Ranch in California. With her grant funding, Kristina will travel to Wellington, Florida, for the winter season and train with Charlotte Bredahl.

Kristina said, "Developing young horses from the ground up has long been a passion of mine, which makes receiving this grant especially meaningful. With the support of this grant, we will continue to grow, learn, and gain valuable experience and confidence as we work toward our goal of representing the United States in international competition."

USDF Launches New "You Be the Judge" Education, Supported by TDF's McPhail Fund

The United States Dressage Federation™ (USDF) is thrilled to announce the official launch of the new "You Be the Judge" education module, available through the USDF website. Made possible by The Dressage Foundation’s Mary Anne and Walter McPhail Judge Education Fund and USDF’s partnership with Black Horse One, this new platform allows all members to have a peek behind the curtain to understand what, specifically, judges look for and how they assess scores in the competition arena.

TDF President Beth Baumert said, “Mary Anne was passionate in her desire for riders and trainers to be on the same page as the judges. I know she’s up there monitoring this whole thing, so please log on and enjoy!”

We Welcome PasturePuff as New Corporate Sustaining Partner

PasturePuff is a brand-new concept in equine care—a mattress dedicated to providing rest, recovery, and daily comfort to horses. While orthopedic beds have long been the standard for humans and dogs, horses now also have access to this same level of comfort, support, and durability.

PasturePuff has been built to meet the demands of horses’ size, strength, and daily life, and is proud to be made entirely in the United States.

As a new TDF Corporate Sustaining Partner, PasturePuff will help strengthen dressage in the U.S. through monthly donations to support TDF’s grants and programs!

Decades of Dedication to Equestrian Sport

Congratulations to two of our newest Century Club members, Bernard Hylton (age 85) and Protect N Serve (age 15) from Virginia!

For more than 40 years, Bernard has been deeply involved with Pony Club and 4-H, mentoring generations of young riders. Throughout the years, his farm has hosted horse trials, clinics, trail rides, and mock hunts to give young riders valuable experience.

Bernard said, "When I was 75, I decided to put away my jump saddle and become the local dressage 'king.' Seal and I have made it up to Second Level and still have lots to learn. So just kick on, folks!"
