Coffeehouse Concert:
Gareth Pearson “The Welsh Tornado”

Gareth’s fingerstyle playing incorporates explosive lead runs, and he creates arrangements across genres including country/folk, classical, pop/rock, jazz/swing, and bluegrass. His influences include Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Jerry Reed, and Tommy Emmanuel, who wrote a song about Gareth, called “The Welsh Tornado.”
