Jewish Partisans During the Holocaust
Mon., Nov. 25, 2:00 pm on ZOOM
The partisans were organized resistance groups in Nazi-occupied Europe during WWII, who fought back against the Nazi occupiers. Their goals were survival, rescue of fellow Jews, sabotage of the Germans, and support of the Allies in winning the war. Presented by Lauren Ray, volunteer Docent Educator at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum.

Botanical Bas Relief

Learn the art of pressing flowers and leaves into clay. You'll then pour plaster of paris, paint your relief, and fire your clay design. Suitable for all skill levels.

Draw unique and new expressive forms with a stroke of a pen and a pencil. Must have attended an Introduction to Zentangle.

Drop in to try a few steps with the Capital Twirlers Square Dance Club!
Mon., Nov. 18 at 7-8 PM - Free!
Second Floor Auditorium
Square dancing is a delightfully energetic activity set to great music, with lessons to learn the steps. You will be laughing and want to keep on dancing! You’ll walk many steps, so wear comfortable clothes and shoes. (No crinolines or cowboy boots needed.) Bring a partner, if you can, to get the most out of the event. Lessons begin on Jan. 27, from 7 to 8 PM and continue on Monday nights for the next 12-15 weeks.

Partnership Engagement Specialist with the primary responsibility being business partner and sponsor relations, recruitment, and retention.
UPSLIDE & Wellness Program Assistant will assist UPSLIDE and Health/Wellness Coordinators with clinical and administrative duties.
Evening Building Leader oversees the operations of the Senior Center during evening and weekend hours.
