Medicare Moments

Questions to Ask if You’re Ready to Enroll in Medicare

Did you know that obtaining the right Medicare coverage often depends on asking the right questions?

Medicare Basics: Am I Medicare-eligible? What are the different parts of Medicare insurance and what do they provide? When can I enroll in Medicare?

Medicare Coverage Options that Match My Healthcare Needs:

Original Medicare or a Medicare Advantage Plan? Will I need a Supplement Plan to pay for the costs that Original Medicare does not cover? What are my prescription drug coverage options?

Financial Assistance Programs to Help Pay for your Medicare Costs:

What kind of assistance is available? Am I eligible for these programs?

Let a SHINE Counselor assist you with these and other questions.

To talk to a SHINE Medicare Counselor, call the

Elder Helpline 800-963-5337 www.floridashine.org
