DEFENSE! The Power of Defensible Space

Wildfire Preparedness Week was last week, and we are recapping the different ways CAL FIRE and partners came together to show why defensible space won't just save your home - it's also a championship move.

Clearing brush, trimming vegetation, and hardening your home gives you a fighting chance against wildfire.

And when you and your neighbors prepare, the whole block wins, because that’s how resilience spreads. Wildfire preparedness is a team sport where every cleared gutter, every trimmed shrub, and every action you take puts points on the board.
