TORRANCE CIVIC CHORALE

UPDATE

MAY 22, 2023

A Word From the Artistic Director/Conductor

As we conclude our 2022-23 season, I am excited to have completed my 1 1/2 years with TCC and look forward to the future ands next year! We had a lot going on this year including reinstating old traditions, forging new partnerships, and solidifying our selves as a wonderful example of a city-supported, community-based, outstanding vocal group! After an amazing Holiday Program, participating in the Torrance Sister Cities Friendship Festival on February 18, we presented Broadway in Torrance, our finale performance for 2022-23 on April 22, 2023. It was fantastic collaborating with the Torrance Theatre Company and Luz Rodriguez who were our guest artists for the program which included Broadway classics, old and new. Check out the video and photos linked below and at www.torrancecivicchorale.net. I hope to see you this Fall as a returning singer or new member! Registration info at our website and on our social media platforms.

It was quite a Spring fro the TCC! While preparing for the "Broadway in Torrance" concert, the group performed in the Sister City Friendship Festival on February 18 and greeted the delegation from Kashiwa, Japan at City Hall the day before, singing both the national anthems for the US and for Japan. Congrats to our singers! Great work!
