Move-in just started and we can't wait to welcome you, or welcome you back, to USC Housing. We are the Residential Education team - ResEd for short. Our team looks forward to meeting you at move-in and being part of your new home at USC. Your Resident Assistants (RAs) are already planning to make your community come alive this year.

Approximately once per month we will send a newsletter to all Housing residents with information about that month's events and initiatives. If you're receiving this newsletter to a non-USC email address, thanks for your patience as we await updated rosters throughout the first few weeks.

Light Up the Night 2026

Light Up the Night, USC’s signature Trojan Welcome Experience kickoff event, is the ultimate start to your USC journey and a night you won’t want to miss. Experience a campus transformed with glowing attractions, interactive experiences, a high-energy DJ dance party, incredible food trucks, and Instagram-worthy moments around every corner. Join thousands of fellow Trojans as you make new friends and start creating your USC story. Open to USC Housing residents only.

Res College Cup Opening Ceremony

**For freshman undergraduate Housing residents**

Kick off the year with our spirited Opening Ceremony, where your res college pride takes center stage. Join your fellow residents to rally together, meet your community, and show off your res college energy and spirit. This is your chance to set the tone for the year ahead, earn your first points by showing up, connecting, and competing in fun challenges! The res college with the most points by the end of the year wins a special celebration, so bring the hype and represent!
