Focusing on Operational Technology (OT) and private cellular networks, this session will uncover how sophisticated threat actors leverage legitimate system tools to evade traditional cybersecurity defenses posing a growing risk to utility operations.

Led by a former U.S. national security official and a 30-year industry veteran, the session will delve into real-world tactics used by Volt Typhoon, strategies for strengthening utility networks through advanced detection and access control, and why private broadband infrastructure has become an increasingly attractive target for cyber attackers.
