Dear UBBA Members and Supporters,
As a proud Board Member of the Utility Broadband Alliance (UBBA), and on behalf of Nokia, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on the growing strength and shared mission of our community. At its core, UBBA is a collaboration hub bringing together utilities, technology leaders, and innovators who are committed to advancing private broadband networks for critical infrastructure. For Nokia, being part of this Alliance means we’re not just shaping technology; we’re working hand-in-hand with utilities to build resilient, secure, and future-proof networks that serve communities and critical services across the country.
UBBA membership continues to prove its value every day through access to unique working groups, targeted resources, and direct engagement with peers and pioneers across the broadband ecosystem. Whether you're a utility exploring private LTE, a vendor offering solutions, or a partner supporting the transition to digital infrastructure, UBBA creates the space to collaborate, learn, and lead. The Alliance gives members a platform to influence the direction of broadband technologies and policy while gaining insights from those facing the same challenges and opportunities.
Looking ahead, I encourage all members, and those considering joining, to register and join me at the 2025 UBBA Summit & Plugfest. This signature event is more than a showcase; it’s a proving ground. It's where vision meets action, where real-world challenges are solved through innovation and collaboration. The 2025 event promises even deeper hands-on demonstrations, richer educational content, and expanded opportunities to network with industry leaders and utility peers. Don’t miss the chance to be part of shaping the future of utility broadband. Together, we’re building the networks that will power the next generation.
Best Wishes,
Jeff Pittman
