Ready, Set, Go! UWPC Campaign Launch



United Way of Payne County board members, staff and volunteers have been working behind the scenes for months preparing for this year's official Campaign Kickoff! September 1st marks the start of our $1M campaign. Money raised will go right back into our community to support our 24 local nonprofit partner agencies.


Be on the lookout for upcoming fundraising events, workplace employee giving campaigns, and presentations at your favorite civic groups.

Campaign Coordinators' Lunch


Workplace giving campaigns are a proven method to keep workers engaged while positively impacting local causes. On August 19 our workplace campaign coordinators gathered for lunch and campaign training. We appreciate you!!!

Letter Stuffing


Volunteers from Young Professionals of Stillwater and our great community have been busy stuffing mailers that will arrive in mailboxes over the next week. Thank you to our volunteers!

Board of Directors Campaign Training


The Happy Place was the perfect location for our Board Campaign Training. Each one of our 37 Board Members is actively involved in fundraising. They are eager to share their "why" story with you.

The OBI Bloodmobile will be at Iron Monk Brewery from Noon to 7PM on Sept 19.


Any successful OBI blood donation scheduled through our link will result in $15 being donated to United Way of Payne County!

Take a break for lunch! Former OSU Police Chief, Leon Jones, and his "grill team" will be ready to serve you a quick meal from 11AM to 2PM. All proceeds benefit United Way of Payne County. Grab and go or hang out at a picnic table to eat.

Partner Agency Spotlight

September is Suicide

Awareness and Prevention Month



We are very grateful to our partner agency, Payne County Youth Services (PCYS)! Their program, "Building a Competent Community for Suicide Prevention", educates individuals on how to effectively support one another and save lives.

Payne County Youth Services can bring this 60-90 minute training to any organization or group free of charge. If you would like to schedule a youth or adult training, please contact Kim Shenold at 405-377-3380.


Throughout the month of September, PCYS will focus their social media posts on suicide awareness and prevention. Follow them on Facebook.


Payne County Youth Services is a non-profit outpatient community-based and substance abuse treatment provider. Their services include counseling, Safe Place, emergency shelter, a transitional living program, suicide prevention training, and early intervention education. Programming is designed to assist children, youth, young adults, and families to improve their overall quality of life.
