OSU's Varsity Revue is Underway

Varsity Revue Votes Benefit United Way

An OSU tradition since 1929, Varsity Revue features fraternity and sorority chapters paired to perform Broadway-styled acts. The public has the opportunity to vote by donating to their favorite fraternity/sorority act. These generous gifts not only show support for the student-performers but also benefit United Way of Payne County's mission. Voting and tickets to the performance are available now!

COMMUNITY INVESTMENT PROCESS

The Community Investment process begins each March when Payne County partner agencies apply for funding. A dedicated UWPC committee extensively reviews applications to determine grant awards. This helps ensure donor dollars impact our communities where it is needed most.

COMMUNITY AWARENESS

Join Stillwater CARES for lunch and conversation! Gather with churches, non-profits, social service agencies, volunteers and community leaders to discuss issues of poverty in our community. Join in the discussion. United Way of Payne County will be there to share the annual Community Status Report.

PARTNER AGENCY SPOTLIGHT

The work of Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) dates back over a century when a New York City court clerk set out to help change the life trajectory for the young men he saw coming through his courtroom.

The office in Stillwater has been serving the youth in this community since 1978, and as part of statewide agency since 2006, when the Stillwater office merged with five other offices across Oklahoma.

In February, BBBS held its Big Casino Night fundraiser. Auctions, live music, casino games and more were offered. Guest speakers also highlighted the need for mentors. They currently have 24 little brothers and 5 little sisters waiting for someone to connect with.

Learn what it takes to be a mentor. Click here to watch or schedule a webinar.
