UNITED WAY MAKES

$1 MILLION GOAL

Thanks to community support, United Way of Payne County surpassed its $1million goal. Several UWPC board members, staff members, partner agency representatives and community leaders came to celebrate the success at the YMCA. We want to thank everyone that gave time, money, resources and energy to help our community.

Brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

2023 United Way Technical/Capital Grants

About the Grant

In the event that United Way reserve accounts are at or above fully-funded levels, additional reserve revenues may be earmarked for partner agency grants to assist with technology or capital needs. In 2023, five agencies received grants totaling $20,000. Those agencies included Mission of Hope, Payne County Youth Services, Stillwater Group Homes, The Saville Center, and Wings of Hope.

2023 Accomplishments Because of Funding

With the grant funding received, Stillwater Group Homes was able to make improvements and repairs to a new building.

The Saville Center upgraded security features within its facilities to align with its safety plan for both staff and families served.

Payne County Youth Services began office renovations to improve work space efficiency and their capacity to provide services.
