Register Now for Run, Walk & Stroll Coming March 11th
You’re invited to Palmetto Bay’s Walk, Run & Stroll 2K on Sunday, March 11 from 10 am to 12 pm at Coral Reef Park (7895 SW 152nd St., Palmetto Bay, FL 33157). This year’s event will include a special unveiling of an Expression Swing at Coral Reef Park’s playground.
 
The Village’s Walk, Run & Stroll 2K aims to create awareness and raise funds for Coral Reef Park’s sensory garden and swings to benefit individuals with disabilities. This event started in Palmetto Bay in 2015, as Voices for Cerebral Palsy a/k/a Samantha’s Purpose, a 501 © (3) not-for profit charitable organization with a mission to increase awareness and understanding of Cerebral Palsy, while bringing families, community members, and children of all abilities together.

Online race registration is open until Thursday, March 8 th and onsite registration opens on event day starting at 9am. Race registration includes a “green” commemorative t-shirt and a participation medal. After the 2K, children and families will have the opportunity to enjoy family activities and visit resource vendors that will be onsite. A variety of delicious food and beverages will also be available for purchase by Palmetto Bay’s very own Farmers Market vendors.

  • Attend our Regular Council meeting on Monday, March 5th starting at 7 pm, with awards and presentations starting at 6:30 pm at Village Hall.
  • Join Mayor Flinn and Councilman Singer for a Town Hall to discuss traffic safety and concerns on Monday, March 12th at 7 pm.
  • SAVE THE DATE for the 2018 Kids Town Hall coming up on Wednesday, March 14th. More information to follow.
