Palmetto Bay Comedy Festival
Let's laugh for a cause together on Friday, April 15 at 7 pm at Ludovici Park.

Kira Soltanovich from the Tonight Show with Jay Leno will be headlining the Palmetto Bay Comedy Festival where a portion of the proceeds from every ticket sale will benefit local non-profit organization, The Everglades Foundation.

Earth Week 2016
Palmetto Bay is committed to Earth Day in such a big way, we take a full week to celebrate. Each year, Villagers of all ages invited to take part in a wide range of green activities -- all free to the public -- during the week around Earth Day, April 22.

We are looking for 5th graders from local schools in the Village to participate in our annual poster contest themed “Trees for the Earth.” Village officials will visit the winning school for a tree-planting ceremony. See contest rules  here .  Deadline is April 8th at noon!

Highlights:
  • Road and drainage improvements starting for SW 136 St and SW 184 St.  Watch out for daily road closures until the projects are completed.
  • Thank you to all those who joined Councilwoman Cunningham at the first-ever Kids Town Hall meeting. We cannot wait to implement all of your wonderful ideas to enhance the Coral Reef Park playground.
  • In case you missed it, the Coalition of Cities spearheaded by Palmetto Bay unveiled the plan to bring Light Rail Transit to South Dade. Catch a rerun of the Town Hall meeting on WBAY or on demand and check out the Miami Herald article.
