Town Workshop - 
Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Improvements  
The Village of Palmetto Bay together with design engineer, R.J. Behar will be hosting a Town Workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 7 pm at Village Hall. Residents are invited to attend and receive information on the details of the Coral Reef Elementary and Perrine Elementary Safe Routes to School (SRTS) improvements project designed to advance safe walking and bicycling to and from schools.
Highlights:
  • Calling all Middle School (6-8 Grades) Visual Art teachers & their students! The Village invites middle school students to be a part of the 2017 Earth Day Art Contest! The winning artwork will be selected for the front cover of the Village of Parks Play-by-Play Recreation Guide Spring Edition mailed to over 10,000 residents. Rules apply, click here for details. 
  • Detective skills and an appetite will be necessary for the Village's very popular Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre & Show - Totally 80's at Thalatta Estate happening Friday, Mar. 10, overseeing the beautiful Biscayne Bay! Grab your most righteous '80s concert gear to rock out in style while you solve a crime with your friends. Click here for more info.
  • Join the Village of Palmetto Bay at the 2017 Run, Walk & Stroll 2K for Cerebral Palsy at Coral Reef Park on Saturday, Feb. 25. The event will begin with the run, walk and stroll at 4:00 pm followed by a showing of The Secret Life of Pets at dusk. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be used to fund our sensory gardens and swings to benefit individuals with disabilities at Coral Reef Park. Register today!
