There's Still Time to Commit to Get Fit!
If you weren't able to join us for the Get Fit Palmetto Bay Kickoff, you can still register to be a part of the Mayor's Fitness Challenge

The Mayor's Fitness Challenge is a 7-week program that requires participants to register by January 14th and follow their progress for the 7-week period.  Program participants will receive an initial health screening administered by Baptist Health, which includes weigh-in and body composition measurements.  Participants will also receive a " goodie bag ", a Health Passport to track measurements, two passes to Surf & Turf Zumba-Kayak Workout and discounts and freebies from program partners . Highlights:
  • McDonald's will be hosting a special event today throughout South Florida to show their appreciation to law enforcement officers and support staff. Have "Coffee with a Cop" at the McDonald's on 18295 S. Dixie Hwy from 8-10 am. Start your day with a cup of joe and conversation with some of our Palmetto Bay Policing Unit officers. We hope to see you there!
  • Calling all outdoor and camping enthusiasts! The most anticipated, family-friendly, overnight adventure is coming to Coral Reef Park for the Village‚Äôs 2nd annual Camping in the Park & Movie Night set for February 4-5. Online registration is now open! Click here for more info. 
  • Join us tonight for our first Council Meeting of 2017 in the Village Hall Council Chambers. Proclamations, presentations, and awards will begin at 6:30 pm.

  • 7-9 pm - Planning Session for the development of bicycle lanes along SW 136 Street from US-1 to Old Cutler Road, Howard Drive Elem. (7750 SW 136 Street)
