Village Hall will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th in observance of the holiday and Village parks will operate on a modified schedule.  Please visit our 2017 Independence Day Celebration page for more information.

Tomorrow, our residents will celebrate America's 241st birthday on a grand scale from 6-9 pm at Village Hall with an explosive 15-minute fireworks show, launched from Palmetto Bay Park, happening at 8:45 pm. This event is free and open to the public. 


Plenty of fun activities are planned in the hours leading up to the fireworks show like face painting, stilt walkers, live bands, art & craft promenade area, LED robot show  and a free kids fun zone with inflatables & amusement rides.  


There will be fun for everyone in the family so, be sure to come out early to get a good viewing spot and enjoy food/beverage (ID required for alcohol purchase) served by our food vendors. 
Highlights:
  • The Dr Pepper Snapple Group/Keep America Beautiful Park Recycling Bin Grant Program is funding two new recycling bins per Village park, making recycling more accessible for local residents enjoying the outdoors. More information to come!
  • Don't miss the next Budget Workshop scheduled for July 12th at Village Hall.  Come by and tell us what your priorities are for the upcoming fiscal year that starts on October 1st.
  • Registration for Summer Camp and Tennis Camp will be ongoing and is available online and at the Coral Reef Park Tennis Window. Online registration for Summer Camp and Tennis Camp will close every Friday at noon and reopen every Monday at 8:00 am. No registrations will be accepted at the Coral Reef Park Tennis Window over the weekends. Click here for more information.
