State of the Village Address
Residents are cordially invited to join us on Wednesday, October 19th as the Mayor presents our past accomplishments and future initiatives for the Village.  The event starts at 6:00 pm and will be held at the Palmetto Bay Municipal Center.  The address will be broadcasted live on WBAY-Channel 77 and via livestream webcast.  Light appetizers, beverages & desserts will be served.  We hope to see all Village residents there!

On a separate note, don't forget to cast your vote for the movie you want to see at our annual  Halloween Trick-Or-Treat & Movie Night  on Oct. 29th.   Voting closes at 5pm this Sunday.
Highlights:
  • Happy Columbus Day! Village Hall is closed today in observance of Columbus Day.  Parks are open and will operate as usual.
  • Participate in this important survey.  The Village's Education Advisory Committee has put together a short survey inviting resident feedback! Answers are anonymous.  The survey closes tomorrow at 5 pm.
  • Town Hall Meeting this Thursday, October 13th.  Please join us in the Southwood Middle Auditorium starting at 7pm to address educational issues for all stakeholders in our community.
  • Trick or Treat & Movie Night is almost here.  The annual event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29th from 6-9pm @ Coral Reef Park.
  • Enjoy fine art, food and wine at the Deering Estate's "Wine on Harvest Moon" event on Saturday, October 15th, 7:30-10:30pm.
