Dear Colleagues in the Alliance for Public Waldorf Education,

I am writing with an open and heartfelt invitation to join us at the AWSNA Conference this June at High Mowing School in New Hampshire.

This year’s theme, Bridging Principles and Practice, feels especially alive in the context of the many ways Waldorf education is unfolding today. We would very much welcome the presence and perspectives of public and charter school educators as part of this shared space of inquiry, reflection, and renewal.

Across the conference, there are rich opportunities to engage in pedagogical exploration, including the Pedagogical Section Council’s mini-conference, with sessions woven throughout the gathering. These offerings invite us to look closely at our teaching practices, curriculum, and the developmental needs of students in a changing world.

Alongside these pedagogical offerings, we have workshops that explore aspects of leadership and governance as well as questions of diversity, inclusion, and belonging. These sessions will explore how we meet students with clarity, responsiveness, and care. These conversations feel essential, and all the more meaningful when held across a wide range of school contexts.

Perhaps most importantly, the conference offers space to connect across settings. We see this as an important moment to strengthen relationships across the broader Waldorf movement and to learn from one another’s experiences.

Registration is now open, and we warmly invite you to explore the conference offerings and share them with your colleagues. You can find full details and register here: 2026 Association Conference.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if it would be helpful to connect further or if you have any questions.

Warmly,

Caitlin Rooney, Conference Chair
