Finishing 2019 With A Bang

Fall and cooler weather always reminds us that the end of the year is fast approaching, lots of activity leading up to the holidays. 2019 has been a busy year for most of us including your conference planning committee for the November 7th annual conference being held at Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells. The theme this year, "A Passion for Rural Housing" reflects the career path and business many of us have chosen.

With that in mind, our Keynote speaker this year will be Jackie Ramstedt, long time professional in the housing industry, who provides that passion early in our agenda.   We also look forward to Frank Frassetto, State Director of Rural Development opening our conference on agency activity in 2019 and what lays ahead for 2020.

Sessions this year will cover the MPR (Multi-Family Preservation & Revitalization) program, what happens when disaster strikes, blending tax credits with Rural Development financing, waiting list maintenance and our annual review of the lease for 2020.

As always, we have a full array of vendors with products and services you can use to make your housing operations more efficient, safer, and productive. There will be plenty of time for networking and catching up with your housing colleagues from across the state.

It is a great time of year to come to Wisconsin Dells and participate with all your passion for housing. See you on the 7th!

Russell D. Kaney
President, WI-CARH
