Fall Textbook Return

Fall college textbooks MUST BE RETURNED to the WCC Bookstore before December 13.

Students with college classes must return their fall books before they get their winter books.

  • Be sure to bring your ID to get your book sticker for next semester when you return your fall books.

  • Students who fail to return college books on time will have to pay for them.

Students with WTMC classes will return their WTMC books to their teachers.

Winter Textbook Pick-up

Students with winter college classes MUST PICK UP their textbooks from the WCC Bookstore between January 10 - 24.

Students need their ID with a book sticker to get their winter books.

  • How do I get a book sticker? The bookstore gives out stickers for winter when you return fall books.

  • Didn’t have fall college classes or books to return? Get your sticker from the WTMC office.

E-Books: Many college textbooks are electronic. Students will receive an access code from the bookstore. Always begin with the free trial code. Once activated, a full-semester code cannot be refunded if you change your schedule.

Books are Expensive!

WTMC spends an average of over $200,000 a year on college textbooks (so you don’t have to!). In return, we ask that students:

  • Use them! They’re an important resource.

  • Return them to the WCC Bookstore as soon as your class ends.

BASE Conferences

December 6 has been set aside as time to schedule student-parent-BASE conferences, but advisors might also offer other days/times.

At WTMC, our conferences are student-led. BASE advisors will communicate more information about how to prepare for, and schedule, your conference.

BASE Communications over Break

BASE advisors will communicate their availability to their students directly. Typically, advisors will check email the week before classes begin.

Students should also check their email and Blackboard/Canvas the week before classes begin.

Technology for College Classes

On-campus computing resources are available for students. Students can access any software they need in the GM computer commons or department labs. This includes students taking online classes.

Students taking tech-heavy WCC technical classes (VID, CPS, ANI, GDT, PHO, etc.) should be prepared to spend time on campus in the computer lab. WTMC can not reimburse students for the cost of software license subscriptions and can not install specialized software for WCC classes on WTMC laptops or personal devices.

A limited number of WCC laptops are available for loan from the GM Learning Commons.

Supplies for College Classes

Some classes require specialized equipment or materials. With a few exceptions, WTMC provides most of these. Students should never pay for any class materials without speaking to Ms. Zoe in the WTMC office first.

The Fall 2025 Admissions Period Begins December 10!

Do you have younger siblings that want to apply to WTMC for fall 2025? It's time to register for an admissions meeting! Admissions informational meetings require advanced registration and have limited space available.
