From the Klein Collection: Mezuzah

Many pieces in the Klein Collection reflect the popular style customs of the times and places in which they were made. This tzedakah box, with its clean edges and bold lines, was influenced by the Art Deco movement of the early 20th century. German text on it reads: “In aid of women.”

Want to learn more about the Klein Collection or schedule a group tour? Contact Abby Magariel at curator@bnaijehudah.org for more information.
