FREE Presentation on Charitable Giving Tonight
Barrington's White House will host a FREE presentation on "Aligning Charitable Giving with Your Values and Passions," on Thursday, Oct. 7 from 7:00-8:30 pm at 145 W. Main St. A talk and Q&A led by local philanthropy and financial planning experts, David P. Buckley, Jr. of Buckley Fine Law and Jacob R. Niggemann of Legacy Partners, UBS Barrington, will cover how the new tax codes will impact donations, options for planned giving, and the legal implications of estate planning. Citizens For Conservation's 50 Fest Event is Oct. 9
The community is invited to attend Citizens For Conservation’s 50th Anniversary celebration on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 2:00–6:00 pm at the Flint Creek Preserve & Smith Professional Building across from Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, 450 W. Hwy. 22 in Barrington. The CFC 50 FEST event includes live music, food & beverage trucks, guided nature tours in the Flint Creek Savanna Preserve, scavenger hunts & games for kids, and activities for adults. Wickstrom Country Fall Fest at The Arb on Oct. 10
Enjoy some country fun and music at the Wickstrom Lincoln Country Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 10 from 12:00-3:00 pm at The Arboretum of South Barrington, 100 W. Higgins Rd. BStrong Together Virtual Run/Walk Fundraiser

The Village of Barrington will host an outdoor, drive-in concert on Friday, Oct. 15 from 7:00–9:00 pm at the North Metra Commuter Lot, 201 S. Innovative Small Business Health Insurance Program for BACC Members is Now Live
The Health Benefit Alliance (HBA) a health benefits program, which has only been available to large organizations, is now open to members of U.S. Chambers of Commerce. It offers small businesses access to fully ACA-compliant plans with rates starting as low as $351 for single coverage and $728 for family. According BACC Member Steve Wilson of CBIZ, “Companies already offering group health have an opportunity to significantly lower costs without compromising the quality of their benefits program.
